Do you sell handmade leather goods or just custom orders?
We actually do both! Our shop carries ready-made handmade leather goods like wallets, bags, and toiletry cases (sometimes called dopp kits by the guys) alongside fully custom pieces. Every item, whether off the shelf or bespoke, is handcrafted leather gear built with the same attention to detail. Take a look at our inventory of handcrafted leather goods. What's the difference between embroidery and monogramming?
Embroidery covers any stitched design — a logo, image, or pattern. Monogramming is typically initials or a name. We offer both, so whether you want a full custom embroidery design or a simple monogrammed touch, we can add it to most pieces. If you have a design already digitized, we can likely use that. If not, we can digitize your design, show you a digital proof, and if you are satisfied, we can begin working on your order.
Can I get a piece monogrammed as a gift?
Yes, monogrammed leather goods are one of our most popular gift requests, especially around the holidays. Birthdays, Father's Day, Mother's day - they are all busy times for monogramming and embroidering pieces. Just let us know the initials or design during checkout, through a custom order, or through a bespoke request, and we'll work it into your piece. Where are your products made?
Every item is handmade in our small-batch workshop in Lafayette, Louisiana. We work only with real leather — no synthetics or faux products. Each piece of handcrafted leather gear is built to last for years, not seasons.
How long does a custom embroidery or monogramming order take?
Turnaround varies by piece and design complexity, but most small embroidery or monogramming orders are completed within 7-10 business days. If we need to digitize a design, the order will take longer as there is obviously more time required. Our current workload can also impact turnaround time. Busy times are before major holidays like Christmas and Easter. When you make your design request, let us know your deadline. We will do our best to meet it!
You mention handcrafted leather gear. What type of leather gear do you make?
We make all sorts of handcrafted leather gear and a good bit of it with canvas accent pieces - it just looks good together. We make items like bags, belts, gun slings, and gun cases to name a few. The slings and cases are typically customized so these items require much more lead time than an off-the-shelf item. You have likely seen it said several times on our website - the quality handcrafted leather items we make, take time, especially if we are creating a design from scratch. There may be times where we have lengthy lead times (like before holidays). So if you are thinking of custom handcrafted leather item, allow enough time for us to make it and ship it to you. Shipping can also be really crazy around the holidays!
